L.O.V.E

Well hello my dear friends this is Timothy Howard coming to you. Yes, second post!! woooo!!
Just a qucik update on mylife...uhh my baseball team unbeatable! School needs to end! and uhh i got a car..SWEET Anyways what I'm hear to "blog" about is love. Now, I was at Bible study at Johnny Harvey's (stud) house, which takes place every sunday at 6:30 ;). Anyways like I was saying we are reading 1 John...great book..really packed with tons of great thoughts. Yet, the question came up..Why does it talk bout love so much? I mean its mentioned in almost every chapter? We all pondered then moved on, but I pondered some more. And my hypothesis is..which could totally be wrong is that love is the foundation of everything. God loved us so much he senthis one son. Yes, I know you've heard this a million times, but love is what people see in you. I think why love is a recurring theme in this book is because to reach some people unconditional love is necessary. The people that just push your buttons, or get under your skin the love your suppose to show is to show them that your for real. I know this is going to sound horrible. But I think sometimes we go through the motions of showing love, think bout it...Put on that smug grin and hug them yet don't mean it. To reach some people they just need to see that unconditional love. So my challenge especially for me, but i challenge you is to blind people with your unconditional love. Just watch and see,God will use that.

ye olde stories

Well well first blog.....Just kinda bored so I made one..haha.. Anyways I come to talk about an important thing.. If you were raised in a church like i was, you always heard of the amazing God saves all stories.. This includes Jonah, Daniel, Joseph, Job etc. I mean not saying being raised in a church is so called bad.. I just believe we become so numb to these incredible stories. We've read them so much that we assume we know every detail of them.
But! If you really sit down and read them there is a awesome story of how one person steps out on a limb for God! Take for example Daniel, prisoner to Babylon. He was put in dangers way countless times including a trip into a Lion's den! Yes, we've heard this a million times..But just think about this would you go that far for God when everybody's against you and threatening your life? I often think of how courageous these men were, and would I do the same? So next time you feel about watching a movie or reading a book about courageous heroes, go to these classic tales and delve deeper and see what faith really is!!!
